Mikvah? Baptism? Purity? Didn’t Jesus handle all of that?

Prayer

Well didn’t He? Or are they still relevant now?  Could they even be CRITICAL in breaking generational curses?  I’m gonna once again quote a dear friend of mine before I start writing this!

A long time ago some very ugly stuff happened between my family members and me!  Frankly it was because I’d become a Hebrew and they (sister and mom) didn’t like it so much!  They started a whole bunch of trouble!  (To give you an example; she feed my kids pork.  Told them it was Turkey Ham. Then laughed at them while she told them the truth about what it was!  Of course they’d finished eating by that time!  Can we say BAD FEELINGS?)  It all culminated in my children being in foster care for a small amount of time!  I learned a lot in that time and when they came home I struggled to use it!

Choice; facing our inner coward!

Prayer

We seem to have this delusion in this country that if we trust Him He will do everything else!  The reality is that He is waiting on US to DO SOMETHING, sometimes anything!  We can’t waste time waiting for Him to do everything for us!  He’s not our sugar daddy at our beck and call cuz He’s got the hots for us!   I mean; do we REALIZE that we treat HIM in such contemptuous terms!?  Most often the answer is NO we don’t!  Then we COMPLETELY IGNORE Him when He begins to teach us that WE ARE WRONG!  How did we miss that choice is an ACTION!  For some reason we seem to think that we choose Him then wait!

*}Harps-Messengers-Reclining on a cloud{*

The reality of His kingdom is we must choose then ACT on that choice!  Perhaps the first step is asking Him what is separating us from…

The Cold and Broken Hallelujah

Prayer

Most people don’t ask why repentance why repentance needs to be broken!  It’s taught quite extensively in the N.T. and most have learned about it since they were in short pants!  It stands to reason that in that repentance there must also be a hallelujah, as we are to praise Him in all things!  I wonder however; how many people apply cold to the word hallelujah!

<<–word study – hallelujah

It is a cold place however!  Cold, dark, and lonely.  The length of the tunnel however is up to us!  Would you be surprised if I told you that in many ways we control how long and how intense the breaking must be before it begins to open?  I was! Being from a family with Catholic roots, I was stunned!  I had no idea in how many ways I’d been indoctrinated, this was an area in which it was profound!  I have never figured out WHY…

Repentance, a gift to treasure.

Prayer

Repentance; guard it like King’s treasure; and deeply enjoy it!

Childlike sorrow makes to valiant warriors. Childlike sorrow makes to valiant warriors.

Repentance isn’t allowed to everyone you know!  Look around you!  How many are never gonna hear Him no matter what you or I do?  For you and I to be able to repent is a treasure that our Kind shares with us!  I find it stunning to listen to a song; have Him take me back in time to when He first spoke with me about ___; and be able to calmly pick the conversation up again!  There was/is no hesitation on my part anymore!  I just don’t have the heart do anything that will separate He and I!  Justifying or rationalizing just tells Him that I am not ready to reason!  That usually means more correction for me and that’s not a favorite of mine! 😉  The reality is I trust Him to be kind if I am honest…

You’ve Chosen Well & Victory is Yours

Prayer

Speak Victory over You!  You deserve it!

Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah

I’ve heard there was a secret chord
That David played and it pleased You Lord
But you don’t really care for music do You?     <- Me

It goes like this, the fourth, the fifth      <- El Shaddia
The minor fall, the major lift
The battle King composing hallelujah

Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah

Your faith was strong but you needed proof      <- Abba
You saw her HIM bathing on the roof
Her his beauty in the moonlight overthrew you
She he tied you to a kitchen chair
She  he broke your throne, she  he cut your hair
And from your lips she  he drew us hallelujah

Hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah, hallelujah

There was a time when you let Me know
What’s really going on below
But now you never show it…
